| Karla is a part of 'Reality,' which is a group that goes and distributes pro-life information to local high schools in the form of pamphlets, and holds giant graphic signs in order to show the truth about abortion. Aside from the pamphlets and the graphic signs, she is prepared to answer any questions that the students might have. The students usually feel less intimidated to approach a knowledgeable person their age, so that is where Karla steps in. Karla is also part of a pro-life organization in her university that distributes the same information and puts on table displays to inform her classmates and professors of the truth of abortion. Karla has also distributed hundreds of pro-life action cards in her shopping area and to people passing by. Karla is a true Survivior Hero.

She also helped put together a ‘holocaust museum’ at Our Lady’s Youth Center in El Paso that had a contrasting display of live and dead baby pictures, as well as instruments used in the abortion procedure. She is dedicated to the plight of teh unborn and that is why Gilda is a Survivor Hero.

| We consider the students for life groups at William and Mary to be heroes. They have been active on their campus despite the fact that on a few occasions those who oppose their pro-life message have assaulted their members. It takes true courage to keep on keeping on in the face of that kind of persecution. One member was punched in the face while passing out pro-life cards, according to the group's treasurer junior Teri Tolpa “I saw her attacker push her to the ground, At first she seemed shocked, then she was upset when she realized what happened. I feel sorry for her, she’s such a sweet, soft-spoken girl.”
Previous to this attack, pro-life sophomore Scott Percic was wearing a Students for Life shirt with the Dr. Seuss quote, “a person is a person, no matter how small,” when an unidentified female threw a cup of water at him. The group's website states, " We endeavor to educate college students on right-to-life issues through various means including literature, speakers, and presentations. We strive to encourage alternatives to abortion on campus and in the local community through volunteering at local pregnancy care centers."

Laura Wolz. |
| Month Released: |
December |
| Year Released: |
1987 |
| City: |
Denver |
| State: |
CO

| Laura has been protesting at an abortion clinic in Denver for years and because of her several babies have been saved. She has held signs in the March for Life parade and has also sung with her choir at the March for Life. On several occasions she boldly started discussions and debates about abortion in school and has written numerous essays about abortion for various classes. Laura also supports many pro-life candidates and by pro-life candidates, she won’t assist someone who is "personally against abortion”, but looks for candidates who are truly against abortion in the pure sense of the word. When she finds this type of candidate she helps them by passing out literature, walking precincts, and getting the word out about the issue. Laura is dedicated to seeing abortion come to an end because Laura knows the truth that each abortion kills a living baby designed and created by God. Laura is a young woman who has sacrificed time, money, and friendships for the cause of protecting children. She never tires even in the face of persecution and trials, she persist until the end. That is why Laura is indeed a Survivor Hero. |
